Apache UIMA (*) software provides frameworks, tools and annotators, facilitating the analysis of unstructured content such as text, audio and video. (*) Unstructured Information Management Architecture.

All PMC members are release managers. The PMC can also designate committers as release managers, giving them the same release permissions as PMC members for all UIMA projects, but not a binding vote.
