Xalan

Apache Xalan exists to promote the use of XSLT. We view XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations) as a compelling paradigm that transforms XML documents, thereby facilitating the exchange, transformation, and presentation of knowledge. The ability to transform XML documents into usable information has great potential to improve the functionality and use of information systems. We intend to build freely available XSLT processing components in order to engender such improvements.

All PMC members are release managers. The PMC can also designate committers as release managers, giving them the same release permissions as PMC members for all Xalan projects, but not a binding vote.
